Bring in your hole patterns
An RCS Tube Layout Detail Drawing, any true scale drawing that can be scaled to 1:1 (it does not have to be full scale), or an existing part program in plain text. On a drawing that is not an RCS Tube Layout Detail Drawing, each hole pattern goes on its own unique layer — one pattern, one layer — and those layer names name the programs; everything on layer 0 is discarded, and a tube layer with circles is required. Designed in 2003 by a CNC operator, operator trainer, part programmer, draftsman and computer programmer — and used in full production, error-free, for years. If you would like to know his story or how he is qualified for writing software to do what this application does, you can read it here: About the Software Developer.
